At Clayton Pet Hotel and Spa, we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for your beloved pets. Our pet hotel and spa policies are in place to ensure comfort, health, and well-being of all our furry guests.
Policies:
Health Requirements
All of our canine and feline guest must be current on all vaccines that we require and be free of fleas and ticks. A Capstar will be given at the owner's expense to any dog or cat who arrive with fleas and ticks.

The following vaccines are required for boarding, daycare, grooming and training classes . They must be administered 14 days prior to check in and be given by a licensed veterinarian.
Dogs (required):
-Distemper
-Bordetella
-Rabies
-Canine influenza (boarding and daycare only)

Cats (required):
-Feline Distemper
-Rabies
-Feline Leukemia and Aids Combo Test

We do suggest that you ask your veterinarian's office to either email (claytonpethotel@gmail.com) or fax (937-771-0865) this information over to us.
Medical Concerns
We cannot admit any pet with stitches, bandages, casts, splints, head cone, or open wounds. We cannot accept any pets that are immobilized (unable to walk on their own). We also cannot accept any female that is pregnant or in season. Please be advised that we do not accept any diabetic pets and do not administer injections of any kind.
Holiday Reservations
All boarding reservations that run through: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day will require a non-refundable $40 deposit. This deposit will be credited towards your bill. However, if you should cancel for any reason, the deposit is forfeited.

On these holidays, our lobby will be closed for pick-ups and drop-offs but, our amazing kennel staff will be here hard at work taking care of your pets.
Arrivals and Departures
Your pet can be picked up or dropped off during any of our open lobby hours (Monday - Friday from 7am - 7pm, Saturday from 8am - 12pm, and Sunday from 9am - 12pm). Guests are charged for the day of arrival regardless of the time you arrive. If you check out before noon (12pm) you will not be charged for that day. Any pet that is picked up after 12pm will be charged for that day's boarding.
